The Sam Morey Scholarship was established in 2025, founded and administered by Footscape, and supported financially through donations from friends, family and local businesses, in celebration and loving memory of the late, Sam Morey.

Please read carefully through the following statements. By signing this document you agree to the following;
  • I am aware that my application will be reviewed by members of the Footscape Committee, a member or representative of Sam Morey’s family and nominated La Trobe University staff.
  • I understand that my application for the Sam Morey Scholarship is not affected by and does not affect, any other scholarships or support provided by La Trobe University.
  • I understand that application for the Sam Morey Scholarship does not affect the placement allocation process.
  • I understand that payment of scholarship funds are subject to being formally accepted for placement at the nominated NT sites, and this is to be confirmed by the University.
  • I understand that if I do not commence or complete my placement, I may be required to reimburse Footscape the full amount of the scholarship. I will not be required to repay the scholarship if the host site cancels the placement.
  • I understand that at the conclusion of my placement - I am required to write a 400 word summary outlining my reflections and experiences of placement in the NT for Footscape and that this will be shared on the Footscape website and other public forums.
